Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover eliminates urine stains and odours from any contaminated surface. More concentrated than other brands.

Description

Enzyme Wizard is manufactured in Australia and is an Australian owned company. Enzyme Wizard produces a range of natural, plant-based enzyme cleaning products for the home, commercial and hospitality markets. Their products are not just environmentally friendly, they outperform chemical cleaners.

The enzymes in Enzyme Wizard Urine & Stain Remover break down stains and odours on all types of surfaces including bedding and soft furnishings, tiles, lino, concrete, wood, patios, unsealed tiles and clean grout lines, patios and synthetic grass. Odours are eliminated by destroying the organic matter creating them. Odours are not just masked with scent.

Urine consists of urea and uric acid crystals. General cleaners remove only the water-soluble components of urine but leave behind uric acid crystals that retain the odour and stain. These crystals attach to surfaces and any humidity or dampness will bring back the odour. The enzymes in Urine Stain & Odour Remover break down stains and odours into their basic elements, mainly carbon and hydrogen which then readily biodegrade, integrating with the environment instead of polluting it.

The water based multi-enzyme formula is designed to destroy all organic waste matter. Regular detergents merely spread the waste matter around with soap.

Concentrated:  Ready to use

Safety: pH neutral, non-corrosive and safe for all surfaces. Completely safe for children, pets, even when wet. Bio-degrades completely and so is totally safe for the environment, septic waste systems, etc.

It is recommended that in order to ensure all urine crystals can be found and treated, the Urine Detector Torch is used.

How to Use

It is recommended that in order to ensure all urine crystals can be found and treated, the Urine Detector Torch is used.

Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover will break down the uric acid crystals completely and their fluorescence will be eliminated. On hard surfaces like porcelain and glazed tile, a significant build up may take two or three treatments. Where there is only a light build-up, only one treatment is likely to be necessary. Porous surfaces like fabrics, carpet, and even concrete, can retain so much residue that complete elimination of all fluorescence may not be possible. However, once the urine stain and odour has been removed, the objective will have been reached.

Shake the bottle well and pour or spray Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover liberally on to stain to saturate. Leave to air dry naturally (5 to 10 minutes). Older stains may require a second application.
Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover is effective all hard surfaces and most soft surfaces. The more absorbent the material, the more Urine Stain & Odour Remover will be required.
Never spray on directly on to pets or people. Urine Stain & Odour Remover is safe to use around pets and people but is not designed for topical use.
Before applying Urine Stain & Odour Remover, fabrics should be checked for colour fastness in an inconspicuous area.
Other cleaners, or chemicals should not be used at the same time as Urine Stain & Odour Remover. If other chemicals have already been applied, the nature of the stain will have changed and the enzymes will have to work their way through the chemical that has now become part of the stain. To minimise this issue, be sure to rinse repeatedly to remove as much of the chemical as possible and allow to dry completely before using Urine Stain & Odour Remover.

How to Use - Bathrooms and Toilets

It is recommended that in order to ensure all urine crystals can be found and treated, the Urine Detector Torch is used.

Porous surfaces like fabrics, carpet, and even concrete, can retain so much residue that complete elimination of all fluorescence may not be possible. However, once the urine stain and odour has been removed, the objective will have been reached.

Urine odours are common to bathrooms. This is due to heavy deposits of uric acid crystals building-up over time. By paying particular attention to the base and spraying Urine Stain & Odour Remover on to the bottom curves of the toilet, the floor and the grout and tiles on the lower walls surrounding the toilet, the odours will be removed. For areas that have heavy concentrations of urine a second and third application may be necessary. If a further treatment is required wait until all surfaces are dry, and repeat steps above. Urinals, especially in public facilities often need a three-step approach. Apply three times and then apply regularly as required.
Hygiene should be maintained by cleaning frequently with Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner and/or Enzyme Wizard Bathroom / Toilet Cleaner.

How to Use - Glazed Tiles, Porcelain and other Hard Surfaces

These surfaces, although smooth, will have a certain amount of porosity that will allow urine crystals to accumulate. The grout can be particularly porous.
For fresh urine deposits, Wipe up urine with paper towel. Spray the surface with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover and allow to air-dry.
Once the odour has been removed, use Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner with a micro fibre mop to remove any residue from the surface.
For old dried stains, Spray with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover until the surface is saturated and allow to air dry.
Repeat the treatment on subsequent days until the odour has gone. This may take 3-4 applications.
Once the odour has been removed, use Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner with a micro fibre mop to remove any residue from the surface.
If urine splashing continues, or pets are to continue to use the area, hygiene should be maintained by cleaning frequently with Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner.

How to Use - Marble and Unglazed Tiles

Because marble and unglazed tiles are porous, they should be treated like concrete. Whilst treating with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover, be sure to pay special attention to the grout, which is likely to have absorbed a significant amount of urine.
Marble and Unglazed tiles may appear hard and impermeable, but they actually have tiny pores and act like a sponge. This means that urine can be absorbed deeply and removing the urine can be challenging.
Carefully follow the following steps for best results:
Do not use any other cleaners, or chemicals and ensure that the floor is dry. Sweep thoroughly to remove all loose debris and dirt and dispose of all loose material as this is likely to be contaminated with urine and can pose a lingering odour issue if not removed. It is recommended that a vacuum cleaner is not used as the dirt particles are likely to introduce uric acid crystals into your vacuum cleaner and create an unintended additional problem.
Spray the affected surface liberally with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover using a pump sprayer. Cover with the treated area with plastic sheeting for 1 to 2 hours. This will slow the evaporation of the Urine Stain & Odour Remover and will allow time for the first application to soak deeply into the marble or unglazed tile.
As the first application of Urine Stain & Odour Remover goes to work, the urine odour may actually intensify at first. This is normal with old, or heavy urine deposits, and indicates that the urine is being broken loose and is rising to the surface.
Remove the plastic and blot the floor dry with paper towels. The paper towels are likely to be coloured yellow and smell heavily of urine. Dispose of the soiled towels.
Reapply Urine Stain & Odour Remover and allow 1 to 2 hours for it to air dry slowly. In cool, humid environments, drying may take longer.
Reapply as needed, with 1 to 2 hours’ drying time between each application until odour is no longer present.

How to Use - Clothing, Bed Linen and Towels

Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover can be used as a pre-treatment before washing urine-contaminated laundry. There will be no need to throw away clothing, bed linen or towels contaminated with urine stain or odour. Test for colour fastness in an inconspicuous area. Simply saturate the entire area affected with urine Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover.
Allow to soak for 15 to 30 minutes before washing.
For particularly stubborn odours and stains, saturate and place in a plastic bag overnight. This will keep the Urine Stain & Odour Remover moist, allowing the bio-enzymatic action to completely break down the odour and stain.

How to Use - Furniture and Mattresses

Always check for colour fastness. For specific treatment of more delicate furnishings, such as leather, the manufacturer or store where you bought the item should be consulted. As a general rule, Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover will do no more harm to the surface of leather, or fabric than water. In fact, it will do less harm than the burning acidity of dried urine.
For fresh urine deposits, do not use any chemicals, cleaners, or shampoo on the affected area. If you plan to have the piece of furniture professionally cleaned, do this only after you have treated all urine odour and stain with Urine Stain & Odour Remover.
Soak up as much urine as possible by blotting with paper towels.
Use the “stream” setting on the spray nozzle and saturate the urine stain and any underlying padding with Urine Stain & Odour Remover. Urine Stain & Odour Remover must come into contact all of the urine-soaked material completely in order to remove the odour and stain. For mattresses and heavily padded furniture, ensure that Urine Stain & Odour Remover soaks through to the pad. This is where much of the urine would have originally soaked through.
Allow to air dry slowly. Once the treatment has been completed and urine odour and stain have been removed, apply a small amount of water to the treated area and blot with a paper towel to remove residue. Unlike soap-based products, any remaining residue will not attract dirt and grime.
For old dried urine stains, treat as for fresh urine deposits. Remember that long-term exposure to urine can actually burn leather, and fabric dyes in furniture and mattresses. Although not common, even the complete removal of the urine deposit cannot reverse the damage already caused.
For particularly old, or difficult stains, the area should be saturated with Urine Stain & Odour Remover and then then covered with plastic wrap for 24 to 48 hours. This will allow the treated area to remain moist longer and permit the bio-enzymatic action to completely break down the odour and stain. Please note that as the first application of Urine Stain & Odour Remover goes to work, the urine odour may actually intensify at first. This is normal with old or heavy urine deposits and indicates that the urine is being broken loose and is rising to the surface. The plastic will also help to draw the urine to the surface.

Allow to air dry slowly. Repeat application on subsequent days until stain is no longer visible and the odour has been removed. This may take 3-4 applications. Once the treatment has been completed and the urine odour and stain have been removed, apply a small amount of water to the treated area and blot with a paper towel to remove residue. Unlike soap-based products, any remaining residue will not attract dirt and grime.

How to Use - Carpet and Upholstery

It is recommended that in order to ensure all urine crystals can be found and treated, the Urine Detector Torch is used.

Porous surfaces like fabrics, carpet, and even concrete, can retain so much residue that complete elimination of all fluorescence may not be possible. However, once the urine stain and odour has been removed, the objective will have been reached.

Always check for colour fastness.
For fresh urine deposits do not use any other cleaners or chemicals. Do not shampoo the carpet, or upholstery. If you plan to have the carpet, or upholstery professionally cleaned, do this only after you have removed all urine odour and stain with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover.
The carpet may be cleaned further using Enzyme Wizard Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner. This product can be used in carpet shampoo machines and carpet steamers. For best results, clean with Enzyme Wizard Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner whilst still wet from the treatment, or wet the affected areas again prior to using the carpet shampoo machine.
Soak up as much urine as possible by blotting with paper towels. Do not use your shoe to press down the paper towels, as urine residue on your shoe will deposit urine scent for several steps. Use your hand and then wash, or use a protective glove.
Use the “stream” setting on spray nozzle and saturate the urine stain and any underlying padding with Urine Stain & Odour Remover. Urine Stain & Odour Remover must come into contact with all of the urine-soaked material completely in order to remove the odour and stain.
Allow to air dry slowly. Once the treatment has been completed and urine odour and stain have been removed, apply a small amount of water to the treated area and blot with a paper towel. Unlike soap-based products, any remaining residue will not attract dirt and grime.

How to Use - Concrete Floors

Unsealed concrete may appear hard and impermeable, but it actually has tiny pores and acts like a sponge. This means that urine can be absorbed deeply and removing the urine can be challenging.
Carefully follow the following steps for best results:
Do not use any other cleaners, or chemicals and ensure that the floor is dry. Any carpet adhesive or other residue should be removed with a scraper.
Remove the plastic and blot the floor dry with paper towels. The paper towels are likely to be coloured yellow and smell heavily of urine. Dispose of the soiled towels.
Reapply Urine Stain & Odour Remover and allow 1 to 2 hours for it to dry. In cool, humid environments, drying may take longer.
Reapply as needed, with 1 to 2 hours’ drying time between each application until odour is no longer present.
Once the odour has been removed, use Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner with a sponge mop to remove any remaining residue from the surface.
If urine splashing continues, or pets are to continue to use the concreted area, hygiene should be maintained by cleaning frequently with Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner.

How to Use - Wooden Floors - Hardwood

Urine stains in hardwood flooring are some of the toughest stains to remove, especially if repeated soiling has turned the area black. The black staining indicates that there is a heavy build-up of dried uric salt crystals, and also that actual wood damage has taken place. The acid in the urine has burned the tannins in the wood.
Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover will be able to remove the urine odour entirely and can also remove the build-up of dried uric acid crystals with repeated applications. However, the damage to the wood tannins cannot be reversed and the wood may remain stained grey to black. This represents the permanent burning caused by the uric acid. If the degree of discoloration is unacceptable, then refinishing will be necessary. In many cases sanding can remove the damaged wood to a level that is acceptable.
Always treat with Urine Stain & Odour Remover before refinishing, as the heat of sanding and refinishing may bake the urine crystals into the wood and make odour and stain removal much more difficult. Use Urine Stain & Odour Remover to remove as much of the staining as possible first, using multiple applications. This will mean that less wood will need to be removed during the refinishing process.
If the urine stain is on top of a sealed floor, Urine Stain & Odour Remover sprayed on the discoloured urine area will remove the urine salt crystals.
If the urine stain has been sealed into the floor, Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover will be unable to penetrate the sealer. It will be necessary for the sealer to be removed. A stiff wire brush may be sufficient, but sanding may be necessary. Sweep thoroughly to remove all loose debris and dirt. Dispose of debris and dirt as this is likely to be contaminated with urine and can pose a lingering odour issue if not removed. It is recommended that a vacuum cleaner is not used as the dirt particles are likely to introduce uric acid crystals into your vacuum cleaner and create an unintended additional problem. The floor can be resealed once the stain has been treated.
If urine splashing continues, or pets are to continue to use the area, hygiene should be maintained by cleaning frequently with Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner.

The following procedure should be followed to treat a severely stained floor:
Start by treating the perimeter first with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover. Next spray the entire floor until it is completely saturated.
Cover the wet floor with plastic sheeting in order to slow down the evaporation and enable the enzymes to work for longer. As the Urine Stain & Odour Remover breaks loose the uric acid crystals from the wood, the plastic will also help to draw the urine to the surface. The urine odour to likely to become stronger during this process.
After 24 – 48 hours, remove the plastic and blot the floor dry with paper towels. Re-apply Urine Stain & Odour Remover, without the covering again with plastic. The urine will continue to be drawn to the surface. After 30 minutes, blot the floor dry with paper towels.
Continue to apply the Urine Stain & Odour Remover and blot up after 30 minutes until all odour has been removed. Each treatment will improve the condition of the surface. The stains will become lighter and smaller in diameter, until all urine residue is removed.
Stained areas should be spot cleaned as needed until stains have either disappeared or have ceased to grow lighter. This will indicate that all urine has been removed. Allow to air dry slowly.
Once the odour has been removed, use Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner with a micro fibre mop to remove any residue from the surface.
Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover will remove the odour, reduce the staining, and will provide a better starting point for refinishing, or covering with new flooring.

How to Use - Wooden Floors - Plywood and Particle Board

When replacing carpet that has been soiled with urine, it is almost certain that urine will have penetrated to the flooring found underneath. Because this floor will eventually be covered with new flooring, a perfect finish is not required. The goal will be to completely remove the urine odour. The following steps should be followed to remove the urine crystals prior to installing new floor covering:
Do not use any other cleaners or chemicals. Make sure the floor is dry.
The first treatment with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover will make the stain darker as dried urine is broken loose and rises to the surface. The smell of urine may also become stronger, but will dissipate as the Urine Stain & Odour Remover continues to break down the urine salt crystals.
After the first treatment dries, heavy stains are likely to have become smaller and light stains will have gone completely.
A second treatment will first darken the stains again, which will then become even smaller. Each consecutive treatment will continue to reduce the stain until it is completely removed, thereby restoring the flooring to a urine-free condition. For severely stained and floors where the odour is still present, follow the same procedure as for severely stained hardwood floors. Once the treatment has been completed, use Enzyme Wizard No-Rinse Floor Cleaner with a micro fibre mop to remove any residue from the surface.

How to Use - Cat Litter Trays

Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover is ideal for cleaning cat litter trays. Do not use directly on pet litter as this is ineffective. If the litter has a urine odour, it should be removed and replaced with fresh litter.
Plastic litter trays can actually absorb urine over time and retain urine odours no matter how often they are washed. Replacing them each time they start to smell unpleasant can be expensive. To remove the urine odour, follow these steps:
Empty the litter tray
Wash and dry as usual, being careful to rinse away all traces of soap.
Liberally coat the entire tray (and lid), inside and out, with Enzyme Wizard Urine Stain & Odour Remover.
Allow to air dry completely (30 minutes).
More than one treatment may be necessary to completely remove built-up urine.
Once the tray is odour-free, wipe with a paper towel and refill with cat litter.
